FAQs:
What is Lawnbright Total Lawn (20-0-10)? How does it work?
Total Lawn is an all-around liquid fertilizer with a nutrient analysis of 20% nitrogen, 0% phosphorus, and 10% potassium, plus additional beneficial components like humic acid and sea kelp. In regions with low-phosphorus fertilizer laws or ordinances, or near waterways, Total Lawn allows homeowners to stay compliant. Total Lawn encourages green up and growth, plus stress tolerance and disease resistance, without over stimulating root or shoot growth.
Will I see immediate results on my lawn with Total Lawn?
Yes, Total Lawn contains nitrogen and will provide a visible green up within a few days of application.
How much of my lawn will Total Lawn cover?
Each bottle covers about 3,000 sq ft. If you’re not sure of our lawn size, try Lawnbright’s handy Lawn Size Calculator.
Why does it matter that Total Lawn has no phosphorus?
Phosphorus runoff is one of the main cause of water pollution (algae blooms in lakes, ponds and rivers). When too much phosphorus washes off lawns into waterways, it can feed algae growth, which depletes oxygen and harms fish and aquatic ecosystems.
For this reason, many states now restrict or ban phosphorus in lawn fertilizers unless you’re seeding new grass or a soil test shows a deficiency. Total Lawn complies with these laws. For the most part, established lawns do not need additional phosphorus so Total Lawn allows you to deliver the nutrients that matter without the added stress on waterways.
How would I know if my soil is deficient in phosphorus?
All of Lawnbright’s plans come with a free soil test, which would indicate that deficiency and we would be able to advise you from there.
Is Total Lawn safe for my kids and pets?
Yes. All of our products, including Total Lawn, are made from natural ingredients and no harsh chemicals. This means that they are safe for your kids and pets, as well as better for the earth and your grass.
